Winter Futsal Program

Each winter, many teams choose to continue their play in local leagues held in the Fremont and Omaha area. These leagues take place indoors and on turf, and allow them to continue to get touches and competitive play during the cold months of Nebraska.

Fremont Soccer Club will be hosting a Winter Futsal Program during January and February, 2026 for any families who want their players to continue getting touches here in town with our club coaches.

Players will have the opportunity to train for six Friday evenings from January 9th through February 27th. Each age group will get 60 minutes of touches divided into 30 minutes of skills followed by 25 minutes of games in mixed groups to promote application of the skills.

The objective of our Winter Futsal Program is to continue building on the technical development from the Fall season, and prepare for the upcoming Spring season. There will be no organized teams or league standings, a more individualized approach to skill development and personal competition. The curriculum will be tailored to each age groups developmental needs by our Technical Director, Jeremy Tosaya, and FSC coaches will be working with our players on a weekly basis.

Fremont Winter Futsal

This is registration for Fremont Winter Futsal Program for January-February 2026 with the Fremont Soccer Club.

Structure: Players sign up individually & program is run by FSC coaches at the YMCA on Friday nights. Curriculum created by FSC Technical Director; mixed games refereed by coaches.

SIX WEEK PROGRAM: January 9, 16, 23, 30, and February 6, 20, 27.

Proposed Age Groups based on club feedback (open to adjustments based on actual enrollment numbers):

· U7/8 Players: 6-7PM; 30 minutes of Skills; 30 minutes mixed games 3v3

· U9/10 Players: 7-8PM; 30 minutes of Skills; 30 minutes mixed games 4v4

· U11/12+ Players: 8-9PM; 30 minutes of Skills; 30 minutes mixed games 5v5

Tailored age specific curriculum from FSC Technical Director focused on technical improvements in dribbling, passing, 1v1 defending and 1v1 attacking
Weekly coaching from FSC coaches

NOTE: Fremont Soccer Club registration is done by season, but the soccer year runs fall-spring. Per Nebraska State Soccer guidelines, when a player registers with FSC in the fall, he/she is committed to Fremont Soccer Club for the duration of the soccer (scho ol) year. If s/he would like to change clubs after the fall season, s/he must first be released from their affiliation with FSC before participating with another club.
